Current ideas for a draft license are to:

amend the current vosa laws to accommodate limo operators
Restricted O
minus part time operation
minus seperate fares
minus 15 mile rule
minus how many vehicles you can operate
plus up to 16 seats instead of current 8
10 weekly checks carried out as already done
crb’d drivers
plus the large ops with facilities would be able to do their own checks
plus something to stop others than limo ops to use and abuse

Now as some have said the restricted O is going so we need new name.

All limos included with or without COIF that were registered prior to 1st june 08 But Must meet some safety Standard ie S6

comments for the draft licence.
Acknowledgement that limousines exist & to create a specific category for them.
Create a category (neither restricted or national O licence) specifically for all limousines, under the control of the Traffic Commissioners.
Away from part tme/ full time
Away from under 8 /over 8 passengers
Away from seperate fares
Away from minimum mileages

Grant "Grandfathers rights" to cover limousines (over 8 passenger) already in the UK and registered prior to 1st June 2008, and to include them within the operators licence and safety inspection regime.
